The Republicans have 11 candidates now if you count Thompson Twin, Fred. In the wings is Grinch Gingrich who would make it an even Dirty Dozen. If ever there was a year for Jim Inhofe (R-OK) to run, this is it. That would make it an odd Baker’s Dozen.
Democrats have almost as many, but I expect some of them to drop out in the not too distant future. It’s going to take an awful lot of money to last until November 2008. Who will be the first — will it be a Republican or Democrat to drop out? Post your entries on or before but no later than the last Tuesday of the fourth quarter of this year. Duplicate prizes to be awarded in case of ties.
