Operation Epic Fury, OEFU, began on February 28, 2026 and by July 26, 2026, 148 days later, we have the following numbers – 14 of our military members are dead and 417 are wounded. What is a very sad statement of fact is of the 14 deceased, eight were officers, which is 57 percent. Only 13 names of the fallen have been listed as of July 25, 2026.

The problem I see with the 13 names listed is the dates of death. All 13 died in the month of March 2026. There are no names listed for the months of April, May, June and or July 2026 that I’m able to locate on the DCAS website

So how many military members have actually passed away during Operation Epic Fury?

According to the Defense Casualty Analysis System, so far in 2026 there have been 454 military members die; with 113 members dying from self-inflicted wounds.

In other words nearly 1/4 (24.8%) of our deceased military members that have died so far in calendar year 2026, died from wounds they inflicted upon themselves. The problem with that percentage is there are still 154 deaths in 2026 where the cause of death is still pending. The 1/4 could easily double as the cause of more deaths are being determined.

It appears the only way to stop the death and destruction that is going on around the world, due to our current foreign policy, is to cast your vote in the mid-terms.

If you’re satisfied with the country we have become, vote for whatever Republicans you choose, but if you want to change the future, vote for Democrats. If Democrats cam gather enough votes to take over the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, we may be able to stop the war in Iran and save the lives of both our brave military members and the people of Iran.
