There’s talk going around about the formation of an international labor union. I think it’s somewhat similar to the Helsinki Syndrome where the captives begin to form bonds with their captors. Workers aspire to become part of management and become Salarymen or Salary Women. A little more money and a title is all it takes.
Labor is treated as just another commodity. Buy it as cheap as you can. Replace it with machines wherever you can, and get rid of it when it’s no longer needed. Keep your eye on that bottom line at all times.
